KILLEEN, Texas — Road work along Shawn Drive in Killeen will cause lane closures through Friday, Sept. 13, the City of Killeen has announced.
According to the City, the Department of Public Works' Transportation division will perform milling and overlay services on Shawn Drive from Stagecoach Road to Glenoak Drive.
The work will reportedly cause various lane closures throughout the project, with entire road closures also being possible. Street closures will take place from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. daily, weather permitting, the City said, with roads possibly only being open to local traffic.
A series of traffic control devices will reportedly be in place to guide drivers around the work zone. Drivers are asked to use caution, obey traffic control devices and consider taking different routes.
All schedules are based on the weather, said the City, and could change.
