KILLEEN, Texas — A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a car in Killeen Tuesday evening, according to the Killeen Police Department.
That evening, around 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a call from the 3900 block of South Clear Creek Road after it was reported that a crash involving a pedestrian occurred. They found a 39-year-old victim, later identified as Adrian Dominguez, in the roadway with multiple injuries.
Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson pronounced Dominguez dead at the scene after he was unable to survive his injuries.
An initial investigation into the crash points to Dominguez being struck by a 2018 red Acura sedan while he was trying to cross South Clear Creek Road. The Acura was traveling south when it hit him, police say.
