ROGERS, Texas — One person is dead following Rogers house fire that took place around 9 a.m. on on W Gulf Avenue, according to Rogers officials.
The news comes after officers responded to reports of a house fire.
Rogers firefighters responded to the scene and the fire is out.
Officials say there were six individuals in the house. Five of them were taken to local hospitals.
According to officials, drivers are still advised to avoid the roadway between Alvin Ailey and Front Street.
The road closures is due to atmos energy sealing the gas purpose, officials said.
No other information was released at this time.
