WOODWAY, Texas — After being closed due to rocks and stones littering the roadway, Highway 84 has been reopened, according to a Facebook post from the Woodway Public Safety Department.
The Woodway Public Safety Department originally posted a photo on Facebook around 4 p.m. warning of rocks and stones scattered across the highway and urging the public to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
According to director Bret Crook, the rocks and stones were left there by a truck passing through the area, and was nowhere to be found by the time authorities had arrived at the scene.
No information on how or why the debris became scattered across the roadway has been provided.
