TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple has announced it will begin a temporary detour for the reconstruction of the Knob Creek Trunk sewer on East Avenue N on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
According to the City, East Avenue N from South 26th Street to Honor Lane will be closed to all traffic. Local traffic only will be allowed access to South 30th Street and traffic to Honor Lane will have to follow the detour on East Avenue K and South 38th to access Honor Lane.
The detour is reportedly expected to be completed by Sept. 20, 2024.
