KILLEEN, Texas — The City of Killeen’s Engineering Division will close the northbound lane of Old FM 440 from Edgefield Street to Anna Lee Drive on Aug. 2, the City announced.
According to the City, the closures will take place from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., weather permitting.
Fiber optic services in the area are being repaired, said the City, and personnel and equipment will need to enter the roadway to complete the work. The City's contractor will reportedly have traffic guided around the work site.
Drivers are told to expect delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
