HILL COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation will close part of County Road 2340 in Hill County beginning Monday, Nov. 4 for a bridge replacement project, the department has announced.
TxDOT said they will replace the Alligator Creek bridge, just north of HCR 2302, during the project in order to enhance the safety of the roadway.
The project will require a full closure of the roadway, according to TxDOT, and is scheduled to conclude in spring 2025.
The project will reportedly cost nearly $800,000 and will be undertaken by PMCO Construction, LLC.
