TEMPLE, Texas — Attention Central Texas drivers, Barnhardt Road in Temple, Texas will be closed to through traffic beginning on Monday, March 4 for construction.
The City of Temple stated the closure will take place as they begin Phase 1 of the Barnhardt Road Reconstruction Project. The Project will reportedly feature roadway expansions, curb and gutter, underground storm sewer, pedestrian facilities, landscaping, striping and signage and an extension of the City's water distribution system.
Detours for Phase 1 will reportedly be available via SH 95 and Little River Road, said the City of Temple.
The closure is expected to remain in place through mid-January 2025.
