WACO, Texas — Texas Department of Transportation announces that its contractors will begin a road restoration project on US 84 from Lake Air Drive to Valley Mills Drive starting July 5.
Crews will be working on enhancing the safety of the roadway, according to the city.
The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of the year, weather and field conditions permitting, as stated by the city.
The .85-mile project is being undertaken by Knife River Corp. and will cost the city approximately $2.2 million, according to reports.
TxDOT encourages motorists to slow down, pay attention and eliminate all distractions while driving.
