TEMPLE, Texas — An 18-wheeler was involved in a single-vehicle accident, which shut down lanes going southbound on Interstate 35 in Temple, after the driver crashed into a wall, according to police.
The Temple Police Department tweeted an alert and said the driver reportedly struck a wall going southbound on I-35 near Adams and Central Avenues around 1 p.m.
In a photo posted by Temple PD, it showed the roads were iced over due to the winter storm that moved through the area, but police did not say if ice was the cause of the crash.
Police did shut down lanes for a few hours in response. Those lanes are back open now.
No other details were released as this time.
