TAMPA, Fla. — It came down to the wire in Tampa at the first National Semifinal game in the Women's NCAA Tournament between 1-seed Baylor and 2-seed Oregon. The Lady Bears trailed by three with six minutes left but took over the game in the final five minutes and advanced to the National Championship game with a 72-67 win.
The Baylor Lady Bears are now 5-1 all-time in the Women's Final Four as they advance in hopes of winning their third National Championship in school history (2005, 2012).
Baylor will take on Notre Dame in the championship game is on Sunday at 5 p.m.

With less than two minutes left in the game, Kim Mulkey told her squad they will win the game. This was the first time the Lady Bears played in a close game all post season.
We can't forget about the fans, either. The Lady Bear faithful who still attend Baylor rode on a bus for 17 hours to watch them win in the Final Four.
Juicy Landrum's family made the trip all the way to Tampa to see the La Vega native play in the Final Four. Her aunt was confident the whole game that the Lady Bears would come out on top.
