Central Texas Coyotes Football Club raising money for Temple storm victims through game against San Antonio FC

Half of all proceeds from the game will go towards those affected by the May 22 tornado.

TEMPLE, Texas — #Templestrong.

As many Central Texans are coming together to help their community after severe weather swept through the area in May, one local sports team is doing its part to help too.

The Central Texas Coyotes Football Club is pitching in to help those affected by the tornadoes in Temple, raising money at their home game on June 8.

As the Temple-based club takes on the San Antonio Football Club at Woodson Field, half of the proceeds from the game will go towards those in need after May's storms.

The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m., and Two Lakes Real Estate will reportedly give out free hot dogs to the first 100 fans.

Tickets can be purchased at coyotesfc.us, with children under the age of 13 able to attend for free.

The club thanked The Carlson Law Firm, La Tejana Co., Two Lakes Real Estate, Discover Temple, DG Roofing and Remodeling LLC and Bold Republic Brewing Company for their support.

Woodson Field is located at 670 W. Elm Ave. in Temple. More information on Central Texas Coyotes FC can be found on their website at this link.
