Olympians from Central Texas who medaled in Paris

These Central Texas Olympians secured medals in Paris.

TEXAS, USA β€” Central Texas is well represented at the 2024 Olympics. Many coaches and athletes attended or are currently at Texas A&M and Baylor, all are competing for Team USA. Here is every local Olympian to have medaled in Paris.

Bryce Deadmon (Men's 4x400m Relay, Mixed 4x400m Relay) Gold, Silver

Deadmon now owns two gold, a silver and bronze medal in his Olympic career. The former Texas A&M runner is a two-time Olympian and four-time medalist, winning a gold and bronze medal in Tokyo in addition to his new gold and silver medal.

Fred Kerley (Men's 100m) Bronze 

Kerley is a two-time Olympian and is one of the United State's best sprinters. Kerley won silver in Tokyo in the 100m and took home bronze in the same event this year.

Austin Krajicek (Men's Doubles) Silver

Krajicek won his first medal in Paris this year. He took home silver in Men's Doubles in tennis with his partner Rajeev Ram. Krajicek previously came in fourth place in the same event in 2020 and made the leap to secure a silver medal just four years later.

Casey Kaufhold (Mixed Team Archery) Bronze

Kaufhold, 20, is competing in her second Olympics. She placed eighth in Tokyo in the same event and this year took bronze with her partner Brady Ellison.

Brittney Griner (Women's Basketball) Gold

A three-time Olympian, Griner now has her third consecutive gold medal in women's basketball. The Baylor product is a perennial WNBA all-star and is one of Central Texas' most recognizable names.
