Trevon Diggs, Zack Martin downgraded to out, not traveling to Washington for Commanders game

Brandin Cooks, who was on Reserve/Injured-Designated for Return, was not activated, and he will not play either, according to the Cowboys.

DALLAS — Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs and guard Zack Martin will not be traveling with the team to Washington and have been downgraded to out, according to a team spokesperson.

The Cowboys also announced the following transactions and game status updates on Saturday afternoon: 

  • Safety Markquese Bell placed on Reserve/Injured
  • Defensive end KJ Henry waived
  • Offensive tackle Chuma Edoga activated
  • Defensive end Marshawn Kneeland activated
  • Tight end Princeton Fant elevated from practice squad
  • Corner back Kemon Hall elevated from practice squad
  • Brandin Cooks, who was also on Reserve/Injured-Designated for Return, was not activated and will not play

Dallas kicks off against the Washington Commanders at noon CST.
