ARLINGTON, Texas — The champs do indeed wear gold.

And now we know what the Rangers will look like in it.

The Rangers on Thursday unveiled their gold-trimmed jerseys that they'll presumably wear on Opening Day to commemorate their World Series title. This is a yearly thing that the reigning World Series champs will don on the first game of the season, or even over the first week or so.

More importantly for the fans, they'll get a chance to buy one for themselves. The Rangers will start selling their "Gold Collection" on March 21 at the Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field.

Here's a closer look at the jerseys, which also include hats with a gold "T" logo.

It was only a matter of time before the Rangers dropped the new threads. There's been plenty of speculation on social media as to what the gold-trimmed uniforms would look like -- and now we know.

Also, there's been plenty made online about the new jerseys across Major League Baseball. Nike and jersey manufacturer Fanatics have faced criticism over the revamped look, which includes smaller name lettering on the backs of the jerseys.

That being said, you likely won't find too many detractors of the Rangers' gold jerseys.

Texas opens the 2024 season on March 28 at home against the Chicago Cubs.
