It's official: It's gonna be an all-Texas ALCS! Here's a look at the series schedule -- and how to get tickets

Texas will start their series against the Houston Astros on the road, and will host Games 3 & 4 at Globe Life Field. The winner will advance to the World Series.

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers have advanced to the ALCS for the first time since 2011 after sweeping the 101-win Baltimore Orioles in the ALDS on Tuesday. 

And, following the Astros' win over the Twins in Game 4 of the other half of the bracket on Wednesday night, we now know it's going to be an all-Texas ALCS matchup pitting the Rangers against their foes from Houston -- just as some Rangers fans were hoping would be the case.

Here's a look at the schedule for the upcoming series.

ALCS schedule

  • Game 1: at Houston, Sunday, Oct. 15 – time 7:15 p.m.
  • Game 2: at Houston, Monday, Oct. 16 – time 3:37 p.m.
  • Game 3: vs. Houston, Wednesday, Oct. 18 – time 7:03 p.m.
  • Game 4: vs. Houston, Thursday, Oct. 19 – time 7:03 p.m.
  • *Game 5: vs. Houston, Friday, Oct. 20 – time 4:07 p.m.
  • *Game 6: at Houston, Sunday, Oct. 22 – time 7:03 p.m.
  • *Game 7: at Houston, Monday, Oct. 23 – time 7:03 p.m.

Home games denoted in BOLD. *Games 5-7 will only be played, if necessary.

Ticket information

Ticket prices are available online for Games 4 and 5. WFAA looked at the prices posted on Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, StubHub and Vivid Seats. Here's a look at the lowest ticket prices to Rangers ALCS games, as of Thursday, Oct. 19:

Reminder: These are just the cheapest tickets available for standing room only. Ticket prices vary depending on seating and which game you want. Most tickets around the ball park fell within the $250 to $700 range. Some tickets were priced at more than $1,000.
