SAN ANTONIO — The Killeen Ellison boys basketball team faced a tough loss against Lancaster at the UIL 5A State Championship game on Saturday, March 9.
They lost 59-30 to the Tigers.
Ellison entered the championship game after a convincing victory over #2 San Antonio Veterans Memorial (59-47) on Thursday, setting up a showdown with top-ranked Lancaster.
The Eagles' journey to the State Tournament represented a significant achievement, marking their second consecutive appearance in the championship game. Despite the loss, the Ellison program has shown resilience and determination throughout the season.
