JARRELL, Texas — Chaparral High School is now on the hunt for a new head football coach. Alan Haire officially confirmed with 6 News that he will be taking on the same role as head football coach and Athletic Director at Jarrell High School.
After six years at Salado, Haire took over a Chaparral football program as their first head coach in school history. During his time with the Bobcats, Haire led his team to a 4-16 record, improving from just one win during the school's first year versus three in 2024.
He now takes over a Jarrell team that finished 3-8, coming off a second straight trip to the post season, hoping for number three with Haire now at the helm.
