WACO, Texas — Despite construction still surrounding the Foster Pavilion, the City of Waco has made plans to alleviate the transportation burden on fans.
Starting 2 hours before tip-off, fans are encouraged to take advantage of free parking downtown and catch shuttles on Austin Avenue between 3rd and 4th Street. A landmark for this pick up location is next to the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce.
For those on Baylor's campus, a shuttle service will run to and from the marquee on S. University Parks Drive.
The first game in Baylor's new Foster Pavilion is December 2nd at 7pm versus Cornell.
"It's kind of like when you're a child and mom and dad say eat this and you're like I don't like the way it looks. Then you tasted it and you're like that's not that bad. I think the parking, people are going to walk away and say that wasn't as bad as I thought it was," said Baylor Men's Basketball Coach Scott Drew.
