WACO, Texas — Former Baylor wide receiver Jalen Hurd will not play in the Senior Bowl on the 26th.
Hurd is still recovering from the knee surgery he underwent in December. He suffered the knee injury against Texas Tech in Baylor's final game of the 2018 regular season.
Hurd is not officially on the Senior Bowl roster but he made the trip to Mobile, Alabama for weigh-ins and to interview with NFL teams. He told NFL Network that he expects to be 100 percent healthy for the NFL Combine in April.
Hurd was the only Bear invited to the Senior Bowl.
