The Aggies took down Florida 6-0 to earn their spot in the championship series.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Texas A&M Baseball is headed to the College World Series final.

The Aggies took down Florida 6-0 on June 19 to earn their spot in the championship series for the first time in program history.

While Aggie Baseball is no stranger to the College World Series, making their 8th appearance in the tournament, it will be the team's first time making it to the final round.

It is also the first final appearance for head coach Jim Schlossnagle, who himself has made seven appearances in the tournament.

With the win over Florida, A&M advances to 8-0 in the tournament, remaining the only undefeated team.

The Aggies will next play Tennessee in the championship series on Saturday, June 22, Sunday, June 23 and, if necessary, Monday, June 24.
