MCGREGOR, Texas — Anchor Kris Radcliffe will be emceeing a fundraising event, Horses For Healing, to benefit REACH Therapeutic Riding Center on Friday, Oct. 29 in McGregor, Texas.
REACH Therapeutic Riding Center, a nonprofit organization, offers equine-assisted therapy, or hippotherapy, to help those who may have physical, mental or emotional challenges overcome them. This includes, but isn't limited to, those with autism and veterans with PTSD.
"The bond between horse and human is undeniable and well-documented. Because of this and the rhythmic, repetitive motion of the horse, equine-assisted activities can produce life-changing results," its website says.
