KILLEEN, Texas — The City of Killeen is hosting another Solar Eclipse Community Town Hall at the Civic & Conference Center on March 7 at 5:30 p.m.
According to the city, they will go over several organizations that are planning to host solar eclipse events, as well as tips on how community members can best prepare.
The city says emergency officials have been planning for this solar eclipse for two years, but citizens have to be prepared to deal with inconveniences such as impacts on traffic, gas, groceries, wireless network and businesses.
According to the city, Killeen's population is expected to double over a four-day period as the city is in one of the best locations to view the eclipse.
