COPPERAS COVE, Texas — The City of Copperas Cove is helping Central Texans ring in this year's total solar eclipse with a three-day festival of music, food and more.
The City's "Spring into the Eclipse" Festival will begin on Saturday, April 6, and run through the day of the eclipse, April 8.
The City says the festival will serve as its Annual Spring Festival and will showcase "some of the best food trucks of Central Texas", a local vendors market, a "Kids Zone" for the younger attendees, beer and wine tents, an adult softball tournament and live entertainment.
The Festival will be held at Copperas Cove City Park, located at 1206 W. Ave. B in Copperas Cove. Parking for the event is $10 per day.
The festival will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 6, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 7 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 8.
Acts set to perform at the festival reportedly include Not Past 11 and The Huser Brothers on Saturday, April 6 and Memphis Kee and Taylor Branch and The Lonestar Ramblers on Sunday, April 7.
The City is also looking for vendors to participate in the event, from food to arts and crafts to beyond.
