WACO, Texas — The Waco Fire Department got some new wheels Wednesday thanks to a 90 percent grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The department acquired a new Oshkosh Striker aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) vehicle for the fire station at Waco Regional Airport, Waco fire officials said.
Officials said the vehicle will be in service after training and minor equipping.
