KILLEEN, Texas — The fourth person in the shooting of a 15-year-old boy was arrested in North Carolina, the Killeen Police Department said Thursday.
41-year-old Daran Cedric Hill was wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm.
Three people were charged Tuesday in connection with the shooting.
The 15-year-old was found shot in the head late Sunday night in Killeen, according to police.
Killeen Police Department spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said the teen was found in the 3200 block of Longview Dr. around 11:45 p.m. He was taken to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in critical condition, Miramontez said. The victim was later moved to Baylor Scott and White Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Police later identified several suspects with the help of witnesses who saw what happened, Miramontez said.
Preston Harrington, 18, is charged with deadly conduct. His bond is set at $100,000.
Dante Hervey, 22, is charged with aggravated assault and discharge in a municipality. His bond totals $505,000.
Donna Hervey, 44, is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Her bond is set at $50,000.
