CULVER CITY, Calif. — Social media platform TikTok pledged $10 million to veteran organizations on Monday, Nov. 11.
According to a press release, 10 non-profit organizations will each receive $1 million - $500,000 in cash donations and $500,000 in TikTok ad credits - from the popular app in honor of Veteran's Day.
The initiative is called Veterans Voices, and it focuses on key challenges affecting the veteran community, including mental health, affordable housing and employment.

Content Creators
TikTok also stated the platform is highlighting 10 content creators who use the platform to educate and entertain online. Veterans Voices partners will collaborate with the content creators to produce content that resonates with audiences, according to the release. Content creators Brian Firebaugh, AKA @cattleguy, and Johny Vargas, AKA @vivalavargas, are from Hubbard and Fort Cavazos, Texas, respectively.
