A 9-year-old girl from Texas who went missing in 2016 was found safely in New Mexico on Monday night.
Mariah Martinez's recovery came after she was featured on A&E's Live PD, a documentary series following law enforcement activity throughout the U.S., on Friday.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said they received a tip from a viewer after the show aired.
Martinez was reported missing to the Lubbock Police Department in northwestern Texas on October 21, 2016. She was recovered in New Mexico on Monday night.
Lubbock police thanked the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for "plac[ing] this case at the top of their priority list, ensuring that Mariah return home safely."
