WACO, Texas — School may be out for the summer, but the Waco Police Department is already gearing up for its Back to School Bash happening in July.

Waco PD's Back to School Bash provides free services to students to help them get ready for the brand new school year. These services include providing free haircuts, immunizations, school supplies, clear backpacks and "so much more," Waco PD said.

The event will be held on July 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Doris Miller Community Center, 1020 Elm Ave.

If you'd like to help by donating school supplies, you can drop them off at the Waco Police Department.

Backpacks and school supplies will be given out as long as they are available.
