WACO, Texas — The Waco Police Department arrested 28-year-old Kevin Eugene Reese on Saturday, Dec. 30 after he allegedly strangled 25-year-old Queen Tinisha Louise Brooks.
According to police, on Dec. 27, officers responded to a local hospital after Brooks arrived unresponsive in an ambulance. Police say Brooks' family found her that way and an investigation was quickly opened.
Waco PD says officers were alerted to a Facebook post found on Reese's social account about "wrapping his hands around a woman's neck for Christmas with an angry emoji."
According to police, Brooks was declared brain dead on Dec. 29 and it was determined that Reese strangled Brooks.
The Waco Police Department says this is an ongoing investigation and no other information is available at this time.
