AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation, or TxDOT, is slated to begin the construction of a new U-turn near Copperas Cove on Monday, July 8.
According to TxDOT, the new U-turn will be within SH 9 and BU 190 intersection and will allow traffic going eastbound on SH 9 to head westbound on BU 190.
“The U-Turn will enhance mobility in the area,” TxDOT said.
The project is expected to cost $1.2 million and is being undertaken by Knife River Corp.
