ROBINSON, Texas — Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash on Sunday, Feb. 4, according to the Robinson Volunteer Fire Department (RVFD).
The department stated firefighters were dispatched around 6:15 a.m. to a two-vehicle accident where both vehicles were reportedly "fully consumed in fire".
RVFD said it was reported that there were burn victims, but the specifics were unknown.
RFVD reportedly responded to the fire with two Chiefs and two Engines, and were assisted by one Chief, two Engines and one Water Tanker from the Lorena Fire Department, who also responded to the crash.
The City of Hewitt Fire Department also reportedly responded to the scene, and all the departments worked in tandem to extinguish the fire.
RVFD said two people were taken to the hospital by AMR Waco. No further information on their condition was given.
All fire departments cleared the scene at 7:50 a.m., said RVFD, and TxDOT was evaluating the roadway.
