WACO, Texas — The 2023 Baylor Homecoming Parade brought in hundreds of spectators to the Baylor-area in Waco Saturday morning.
Spectators witnessed one of the oldest and biggest collegiate homecoming parades in the country, with its beginnings happening way back in 1909! Back then, it was horse-drawn carriages and now it's highly-intricate, student-organized floats traveling through the heart of Waco.
The parade started at 8 a.m. in Downtown Waco on Austin Avenue and continued through 5th Street and the center of the Baylor campus.
