ROBINSON, Texas — A truck driver was killed early Thursday morning when a Western Star semi-truck turned over east of Robinson, DPS officials said.
The driver was identified as Joe Drake, 48, of Waco.
Investigators determined Drake was possibly fatigued while the semi was travelling southbound on FM 434.
The semi left the roadway and turned over near Flying Heart Rd., according to DPS officials
Drake was pronounced dead at the scene, DPS officials said.
Officials asked the public to stop driving when tired as fatigue can negatively affects reaction time, judgment and vision.
