TEMPLE, Texas — The job market in Temple, Texas is about to grow.
On Wednesday, Temple Economic Development Corporation (Temple EDC) announced logistics corporation CHEP USA will build a new facility in Temple, Texas. The lease agreement includes a $12.5 million investment, and it will bring another development into Temple's recent community additions.
The 65,000-square-foot facility will be built within Temple Industrial Park and is expected to create 45 new full-time jobs, according to Temple EDC.
The site will focus on maintaining and repairing pallets year-round to support businesses on a global scale.
The new facility is scheduled to be running by September 2025.
Graham & Company, LLC will serve as the project's developer.

The new facility will be focused on productivity while being energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
