Teen suspected in series of robberies in Killeen, Copperas Cove in Killeen jail

A 17-year-old who was wanted for a series of robberies in the Killeen area has been arrested by police.

Killeen police said Lazarus Israel Duaquon Bush was arrested by law enforcement around 5:02 p.m. Oct. 30 in the 2900 block of Cantabrian Drive.


Around  5:02 p.m. Monday, the United States Marshal Service – Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, detectives with the CID  and the Tactical Response Unit located Bush in the 2900 block of Cantabrian Drive.  Bush was taken into custody without incident. 

He was arrested without incident and was taken to the Killeen City Jail.

A warrant for Aggravated Robbery was issued after investigations of robberies that occurred between October 15 – 27.

The other robbery suspect was also arrested and is in the Killeen jail.

On Nov. 3, Copperas Cove Police issued warrants for the Aggravated Robbery at the Little Caesars Pizza, located at 300 Cove Terrace in Copperas Cove, and a second Aggravated Robbery that occurred on Oct. 28 at the 7-11 convenience store located at 2124 E Business Highway 190.

Bush's bond has been set at $150,000.

The investigation was still ongoing for more potential arrests as of Tuesday, Nov 7.
