KILLEEN, Texas — The Killeen Police Department said it has arrested a 17-year-old suspect in the shooting death of another teen in Killeen.
KPD's homicide unit obtained two warrants for the arrests of suspects involved in the Saturday shooting of a 17-year-old.
Darius Kirt York, 21, and Zamante Jamon Alvis, 17, were identified as the suspects in this case, and are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
Alvis was arrested Wednesday and taken to the Killeen Jail, officials said. His bond is set at $1million.
York is still at large and considered armed and dangerous. Police said not to attempt to apprehend him.
Obadiah Moishe Bush was shot and killed near the 1300 block of Covey Lane late Saturday night, according to the Killeen Police Department.
The department said it responded to a call about shots fired in that area around 11:52 p.m., and learned that there was a disturbance between multiple people, with several shots fired and one person getting hit.
Friends took Bush to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:53 a.m. Sunday, police said.
