BELL COUNTY, Texas — The Salvation Army of Bell County will continue its Pop-Up Prayer Ministry Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The pop-up prayer will be at Walmart at 6801 West Adams Ave.

“This is our third week to host mobile prayer and it has been a blessing to watch as those whom we pray for walk or drive away feeling encouraged and uplifted. I still remember the names of those that I prayed for last week and I know that God is with them” Lt. Chantel Millin said.

The Salvation Army provided individualized support for those in need of emotional and spiritual care during the pandemic over the last few weeks.

A team of ESC specialists, made up of Salvation Army Officers and trained employees, are available to help callers seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. To contact the Salvation Army, call 844-458-4673.

The goal of the hotline is to offer assistance to people overcome with worry or undue stress caused by the pandemic, according to the Salvation Army. Callers will find people ready to listen to their concerns and pray with them.

“In addition to praying for those who come by tomorrow, we will take this opportunity, on Friday, to pray for the many workers in the retail industry, distribution centers, manufacturers, and truck drivers that have been working tirelessly to keep the stores stocked with whatever essentials are available,” Millin said.
