TEMPLE, Texas — Temple is set to welcome its first dedicated swimming lesson center, Safe Splash Swim School, at the end of this year.
The new facility aims to teach water safety and swimming skills to individuals of all ages, starting from just four months old. Safe Splash Swim School's mission is clear: to instill the importance of water safety and healthy habits from a young age.
"Ultimately, our goal is to make this a lifetime habit to keep kids healthy for the rest of their lives," said Owner Tanner Lowry.
Lowry added that the school is not limited to just kids, adults are welcome as well.
"Just as much as we want to be there for the kiddos, we want to be there for the adults who want to learn how to do this and maybe swim laps for the rest of their life and develop some healthy habits."
The center aims to provide a fun, educational, and relaxing environment where families can learn valuable skills and enjoy quality time together. The swimming school will also feature two restaurant concepts, a dog grooming service and the Safe Splash pool, making it a hub for families looking to enjoy a day out while emphasizing the importance of swim safety.
"We want this to be a place where families can come and enjoy themselves while learning essential swim safety skills," said Lowry.
Families interested in signing up for swim lessons or learning more about the center's offerings can visit Safe Splash Swim School's website, available on KCENTV.com.
