No injuries after RV catches fire in Temple

Temple Fire and Rescue said a cause of the fire is not known at this time.

TEMPLE, Texas — Multiple fire units responded to a Temple home on Tuesday, Oct. 15 after an RV caught fire in the yard.

Temple Fire & Rescue Public Information Officer Santos Soto told 6 News a call came in about the fire, which took place along West Scott Boulevard, around 2:21 p.m., and units arrived three or four minutes later. 

The fire was reportedly under control within six minutes, Soto said.

No injuries have been reported in the fire, according to Temple Fire & Rescue. No one was in the RV when the fire began.

Soto said the cause of the fire is not known at this time, but the Fire Marshal's Office is currently investigating.
