Multiple fire departments respond to fire in Rogers

The cause of the fire is not known as of Friday evening.

ROGERS, Texas — A large fire broke out at a building in Rogers Friday evening, according to eyewitness reports near the scene.

The fire broke out in the 1100 block of Rogers Cemetery Road at The Home Shop, according to Rogers VFD. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and was reported to Rogers FD just after 5 p.m.

A total of 12 crews from multiple surrounding fire departments helped with the scene after Rogers VFD requested help. Some of the units that helped with the fire included Holland, Westphalia, Rosebud, Troy, and the Rogers Police Department alongside many others.

The total damage to the shop where the fire occurred has not been determined, and no injuries have been reported.
