Remission for Remington: Groesbeck football player fighting cancer returns home for treatment

Remington Masters was diagnosed with Non-Hodgekin's lymphoma in October 2018. After about four months at the ICU in Houston, he's finally home with his family.

GROESBECK, Texas — After almost four months in the ICU at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Groesbeck junior Remington Masters is back home with his family.

Masters was diagnosed with non-hodgekins lymphoma in October.

When doctors began to treat the cancer, they found a hole in his trachea, an extremely rare complication. They didn’t know when, or if, he’d be able to go back home.

Thankfully, he’s made a ton of progress and is now back with his family.

Masters will undergo chemotherapy twice a week in Temple for the next few months. The doctors will re-evaluate his progress after that.

The family continues to ask for your prayers.
