Missing 1-year-old Noah Johnson found safe

HOUSTON — A Houston Regional AMBER Alert was canceled for 1-year-old Noah Johnson after he was found safe, according to the Texas Center for the Missing.

Noah was found in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday and was evaluated by medical personnel in that city, according to the Harris County Pct. 8 Constable's Office. It's unknown if he will be brought back to Houston.

Noah's mom, Kamilah Antoinette Johnson, 38, was taken into custody by the Minneapolis Police Department on an active arrest warrant filed by Pct. 8 on a felony charge of child endangerment. She's awaiting the extradition process back to Harris County.

Tuesday, Feb. 6. -- The last time Noah was seen.

Thursday, Feb. 8 -- A statewide AMBER Alert was issued for Noah after concerns his mother took him from a hospital and didn't pick up his prescription, Pct. 8 deputies said.

Investigators said Noah has a serious medical condition that could worsen if he doesn't get the medication. According to deputies, Kamilah had taken Noah out of the hospital, saying she was going to seek holistic healthcare for his condition.

Noah's doctors asked CPS to do a welfare check after they found out his mother hadn't picked up his prescription. CPS called deputies who went to the family's apartment on Space Center Boulevard near Genoa Red Bluff Road, but Noah and his mother weren't there. Investigators said they received information that Kamilah was seen loading her vehicle up and leaving her apartment with her children.

Friday, Feb. 16 -- The statewide AMBER Alert for Noah Johnson was canceled, but officials said the Houston Regional Amber Alert remained active.

Tuesday, Feb. 27 -- An AMBER Alert was issued out of the state of Missouri after officials said Kamilah was last known to be at a Walmart in Kansas City, Missouri on Feb. 26.

Thursday, Feb. 29 -- The Houston Regional AMBER Alert was canceled after Noah was found safe.
