Neighborhoods across Central Texas will host National Night Out on Oct. 1

Communities and local law enforcement will gather to bridge relationships at National Night Out events on Oct. 1

CENTRAL, Texas — Oct. 1 marks National Night Out (NNO), "an annual community-building event that enhances police and community partnerships," according to the organization. 

In Central Texas, on Oct. 1 neighborhoods and businesses will host NNO events all evening long. The gatherings will include games, food, drinks, and time spent getting to know your neighbors.

Below are a list of locations and times across Central Texas: 

Killeen PD: Phantom Warrior Stadium 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Temple PD: Corinth Missionary Baptist Church 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

Waco PD: Waco ISD Police Department 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Waco has multiple locations where NNO's will be held, click here for more locations and times. 

Mexia PD: Mexia City Park 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Salado PD: Pace Park from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm

Milam County-

Cameron PD: Cameron Police Department Oct 1, 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Rockdale PD: Patterson Center Oct. 2, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Belton PD: Grand Avenue Theater 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
