LITTLE RIVER-ACADEMY, Texas — Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) says 35-year-old Joseph Calhoun died after crashing his motorcycle into a deer on FM 436 near Dice Grove Road on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
According to DPS, troopers responded to the scene at about 4:51 p.m. and discovered that Calhoun was traveling east when he hit the deer. This collision caused the motorcycle to drive into westbound lanes and crash into a Toyota 4Runner.
DPS says no other injuries were reported.
