MCLENNAN COUNTY, Texas — A 17 year-old boy died Sunday after drowning in a Creek near Crawford, according to McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara.
McNamara told 6 News the boy was swimming with friends but did not come back.
McNamara said the Sheriffs office worked with the local game warden to find the boys body.
The body has been recovered.
More details are expected to come tomorrow as an investigation is underway.
