Mart police have released a sketch photo of a man suspected of an attempted kidnapping young girl on August 31 while she was walking home from a school event.
Mart police and the Texas Rangers obtained a sketch of the suspect from the victim. Both agencies have been working throughout the weekend in attempt to identify a person of interest in the attempted child abduction.
Moody Police Department is also helping with the case due to their experience with child abduction cases in small communities.
Several leads are being worked on and the investigation is ongoing.
The suspect was described as an older white male about 5’9, with white and black (salt and pepper) hair, scruffy facial hair, with a skinny build. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and black shorts with green stripe running along the shorts.
