DONIE, Texas — A man is on the run Monday after holding up a bank in Donie, officials said.
The Freestone County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook that a man entered the Donie Bank in the 200 block of Main Street around 10 a.m. and pulled out a long-barreled blued steel revolver.
It is unclear if he got away with cash.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators said the man is white and was wearing a fake beard, black wig, dark sunglasses, and a baseball hat. He was dressed in a gray hooded sweatshirt with the words Maine East Athletic Dept in blue or purple letters, investigators said.
The man got away in a gray or silver 4-door passenger car, possibly a Ford Focus, the sheriff’s office said. He was last seen traveling eastbound on Hwy 164 toward Buffalo.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call FCSO at 903-389-3236.
