Man seriously injured in Waco following hit-and-run, police look for suspect

The Waco Police Department is looking for an individual driving a white Ford SUV with possible damage to the passenger side of the car.

WACO, Texas — A 45-year-old man was seriously injured during a hit-and-run accident in Waco on Monday, according to Waco Police Department.

Waco Police say the man was struck by a vehicle around 5:30 a.m. in the 3600 block of Franklin Avenue. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police say the driver of the vehicle that hit him didn't stop or call for help. Police described the vehicle they were driving as a white Ford SUV with damage that's possibly visible on the passenger side of the vehicle.
