Killeen police are searching for a person suspected in an early April robbery of the Splawn Ranch Travel Center at 10640 S. Ft. Hood St.
Officials said on around 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, officers responded to a call about the robbery at the store.
When officers arrived at the scene, they were told a male entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
He is described as a White or Hispanic male with a dark-colored beard, in his 20’s approximately 5;09” and weighing approximately 160 pounds. Police said he was last seen wearing a beanie, a black jacket, black pants and gray shoes.
The suspect fled in a small light colored 4-door SUV with a sunroof and luggage rack on top, and a spare tire on the rear hatchback.
